The book had its moment. There were a few spelling errors but nothing major, it was cymone's character that f'd my head up. Omg this chick was stupid, immature & desperate for love. Somethings didn't make sense, one minute cymone, christi & Tasha are teenagers & in the next chapter they're 21 years old?? When did this happen? Cymones character was so weak & pathetic, she gave me a headache and I sorta hated her character.I'm trying to understand what it is that cymone loved about Maurice? Was it the beatings, the rapes, maybe it was the constant cheating, it must've been the lies & disrespect. what?? I get love is blind but cymone was just braindead. I found myself smfh, screaming what a stupid ishhhh‼️I low-key blame her for everything that went wrong in her life, yeah I said it.. It's HER FAULT‼️I really disliked cymones character, liked everybody else's but I tolerated hers (barely) She was wishy washy. The writer also kept reiterating the story-- which was useless seeing as I just read what happened no need to repeat it with a different character in a different chapter. Maybe the writer ran out of steam. Something's in the book didn't seem believable to me. It was just ok. I got a little teary eyed for cymone towards the end of the story. I'm just happy this was a full book and the writer didn't stretch the book into series and it was readable thank you Jesus ‼️. The storyline was predictable, I didn't feel like I was right there with the characters, it didn't leave me at the edge of my seat, I certainly didn't want any more. I was actually hoping cymone grew some balls and kill'd Maurice but she was just as pathetic as ever. I hate a WEAK woman/man.. That was not love, Maurice didn't even like cymone from what I gathered. He took pleasure in causing her heartache yet she LOVEEEEEE him😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😕 cymone was a selfish, immature, braindead moron but yet she's supposedly smart & educated.. Where? She didn't work/go to school--- nothing---just got her behind stomped by her deadbeat. I can't feel sorry for stupidity.

This book was great. It is a reminder that once a man hit you, run like hell and dont look back. He will never change and each time it gets worse.
I Loved it!!! Such a needed change. Well written with some great twist and turns. You won't want to put it down. The life lessons need to be read by every teenage girl. Maybe then they will not make some of these mistakes.Definitely an Author to follow.
Very good read every young girl that being abused need to read this book the author Nicola Hill is a good author, I gave it a five
This book had my attention from the beginning. There is a message in the book that is of a everyday life situation. The characters are good. You will feel the characters emotions, make you want to laugh and cry. The storyline is good. This will be a great book club discussion book.
This book had me dealing with so many emotions. I wad crying laughing bag getting angry. Boy I tell you Maurice got better than he deserved!
I could never imagine going through what Cymone and her loved ones went through. I hope this book is read and shared and continues to motivate women in abusive relationships to get out. Nicole Hill was great with portraying what could happen if you trust the wrong person with your heart.
